Cemeteries are fascinating places! Especially old ones. They have so much history, and the headstones are beautifully carved in an old time process no longer used today.
The children's graves are especially heartbreaking. We take for granted our good health and the health of our children. 100 Years ago an early death was common place, and the death of a child seldom escaped many families.

Most of these cemeteries are in Texas, Louisiana and Wyoming.
